St. Liturgy in Baghdad dedicated to St. Vardanank Memorial

On March 1, in the St. Gregory the Illuminator Church was served a Liturgy dedicated to St. Vardanants Memorial, which, with the invitation of the Embassy of Armenia in Iraq, was attended by the heads of a number of foreign diplomatic missions in Iraq, senior diplomats and Iraqi officials.

St. liturgy was followed by an official reception, during which the leader of the Iraqi Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church, Archbishop Asaturian, attached importance to the role of religious and national minorities in the life of Iraqi society, presented to the participants the state of the community and existing problems.

Ambassador of Armenia Hrachya Poladian thanked the guests for accepting the invitation and participating in the event.
