Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq Hrachya Poladian met with the Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Iraq Mr. Ali Khalil Ibrahim

On April 2, Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq Hrachya Poladian met with the Director General of Civil Aviation Authority of Iraq Mr. Ali Khalil Ibrahim.
In the course of the meeting was discussed the possibility of direct regular flights between Yerevan and Baghdad by the "Iraq Airlines" state airline, in which Ambassador Poladyan emphasized the importance of signing a long-time circulated Air Communication Agreement between the two countries.
General Director Ali Khalil Ibrahim, pointed out that Armenia was being considered as a priority, as a tourist-friendly country, expressed willingness to resume regular flights between the capitals of the two countries, highlighting the necessity of revising the issue of granting certain types of visa facilitation to the Iraqi side.
The parties agreed to organize mutual visits in the near future to discuss issues in the field of air communication.
