The President of Iraq Barham Salih received Mr. Karen Grigorian, the outgoing Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq

The President of Iraq, H.E. Dr. Barham Salih received Mr. Karen Grigorian the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq, at the presidential office in Baghdad Sunday morning November 4, 2018.

At the beginning of the meeting, Ambassador Karen Grigorian conveyed the congratulations and greetings of the President of Armenia, H.E. Armen Sarkissian to President Barham Salih on his assumption of the post of President of the Republic and his wishes to succeed in the performance of his duties.

President Barham Salih stressed the depth of the historical relations between the two friendly countries, stressing Iraq's keenness to develop them in all fields.
For his part, the Armenian Ambassador expressed his country's readiness to contribute in the reconstruction of Iraq.
