Ambassador of Armenia Hrachya Poladyan met with Iraqi Minister of Communication, Dr. Naeem Th. Yousir

On February 20, the Ambassador of Armenia to Iraq Hrachya Poladyan met with Iraqi Minister of Communication, Dr. Naeem Th. Yousir.

In the course of the meeting, the interlocutors discussed a number of issues of mutual interest in the field of communication, in particular, the Armenian side touched upon the earlier reforms undertaken by the Iraqi Minister, especially the Armenian side's support for improving internet access. The parties also discussed the details of the visit of the representative delegation from Armenia to Baghdad in the near future, as well as the possibility of signing the already existing project of the Memorandum of Mutual Understanding in this field.

Ambassador Poladyan pointed out the successful experience of electronic government "e-government", electronic stamp "e-stamp", "e-signature" systems, which, according to Minister Yousir, is of great interest to the Iraqi side.

Minister Yousir welcomed the deepening of cooperation on the instruments proposed by the Armenian Ambassador and added the Iraqi side's commitment to further cooperation.
