Ambassador Hrachya Poladian met with Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Dr. Loay Al-Khatib

On February 24, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Iraq Hrachya Poladian met with Iraqi Minister of Electricity, Dr. Loay Al-Khatib. The two sides discussed a number of issues of mutual concern in the field of energy. In particular, the Ambassador noted the possibility of cooperation in the field of electricity transmission from Armenia to Iraq, the use of alternative energy sources.
The two sides agreed to participate in international exhibitions in this field.
For his part, the minister presented the problems facing Iraq in the field of energy and find ways to solve these problems and expressed the readiness of the Iraqi side to deepen and develop bilateral cooperation between the two countries.
