Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Hrachya Poladyan met with Mohammed Rikan Hadeed al-Halboosi, President of the Iraqi Representatives Assembly

On July 15, Armenian Ambassador to Iraq Hrachya Poladyan met with Mohammed Rikan Hadeed al-Halboosi, President of the Iraqi Representatives Assembly.

In the course of the meeting were discussed various issues of bilateral interest, as well as the necessity of close cooperation between the Armenian-Iraqi friendship groups formed in the parliaments of the two countries for the purpose of strengthening the inter-parliamentary relations and exchange of the experience of democratic culture.

During the meeting, among other issues, Ambassador Poladyan also touched upon the possibilities of the Iraqi-Armenian community to be represented in the Iraqi parliament, emphasizing the role and significance of the community in the mosaic of national and religious minorities.
